About Our Practice

Our office is open Monday through Saturday with early and late appointments available to help accommodate your schedule. We would appreciate if you could arrive early to your appointment to allow time for updating medical, personal and insurance information. If you are unable to make it to an appointment, please notify the office to cancel within 24 hours. Extended appointments that are not cancelled within 24 hours may be subject to a fee.

We always do our best to keep our appointment schedule, however occasional delays are inevitable and your patience in these situations is greatly appreciated. Please understand that not all patients require the same amount of time and that emergencies do arise.

Because of the nature of Mohs Surgery, we cannot predict how long these appointments will last.  Though most patients are finished in a few hours, plan to spend the entire day with us.  Bring a book, lunch, snacks, sweater, and any medications that you normally take.  If you have oxygen requirements, bring enough supply to last the entire day.

For your convenience, follow-up appointments can be made at the time of checkout.

Telephone Calls

Our office staff has been trained to assist you with general questions or to relay messages to the doctors. Calls will be returned as soon as possible throughout the day. If you have a problem after regular office hours, the doctors can be reached through our answering service. We ask that these calls be limited to emergent problems. Calls for prescription refills or appointments should be limited to regular office hours.

We accept cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover as forms of payment. We also have CareCredit, interest-free financing, available. Payment is expected at the time of each visit.

Usually, a cost estimate for procedures cannot be determined until you have been seen by the provider for consultation and a diagnosis has been established.

We are participating physicians in the Medicare Program and will submit all Medicare claims directly. Medicare patients are responsible for paying their deductible plus 20% of the Medicare approved amount.

We are also participants of various PPO plans and will file directly to your insurance for payment. You will be responsible to pay your copayment and any deductible at the time of your visit.

Our appointment schedulers will confirm your insurance when making your appointment and our receptionist will request your insurance card and driver’s license at every visit. Without a current insurance card, the office cannot verify or file your insurance; therefore, you will be responsible for payment of all charges before leaving the office.

If there are extenuating circumstances, a payment plan can be arranged with the office manager, Jean Bacarella.
