Dr. Susan Liebovitz

Dr. Susan Liebovitz received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in chemistry from the University of Illinois. She then completed her medical education, as well as her dermatologic training at Northwestern University. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with high honors. She has been in practice in Hoffman Estates since 1982.

Dr. Patricia Ledwig

Dr. Patricia Ledwig received her bachelor’s degree in laboratory technology and medical doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. She then completed her dermatologic training at Northwestern University, finishing as chief resident in her final year. She received multiple scholarships during her collegiate years and graduated with distinction from medical school with admission to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Dr. Leslie Beaird

Dr. Leslie Beaird received both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and medical doctorate from Northwestern University. She then completed her dermatologic training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. During her graduate tenure she was awarded entrance into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Dr. George Dennis Award as valedictorian of her medical school class. She has been in practice in Hoffman Estates since 2001.

Dr. Alka Madan

Dr. Alka Madan received her bachelor’s degree in Minor Life Sciences from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. She then completed her medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Dr. Madan’s dermatologic training took place at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan. During her years at the University of New England she was awarded membership into Sigma Sigma Phi medical honor society.

Dr. Inderjit Gill

Dr. Inderjit Gill received her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and her medical doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in a combined six-year medical program. She then completed her dermatologic training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She received multiple awards and scholarships during her undergraduate and graduate education, the most distinguished including admittance into the Mortar Board honor society and Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Dr. Joy Kunishige

Dr. Joy Kunishige received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Zoology, and Journalism from the University of Florida.  She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was the President of Mortar Board Honor Society.  She also completed her medical education at the University of Florida.  She then did her internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City and dermatology residency at University of Texas in Houston.  Dr. Kunishige’s research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center led to the FDA approval of medications for skin cancer and cutaneous lymphoma. 

Dr. Kunishige completed a Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology fellowship with Dr. John Zitelli at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  Dr. Kunishige specializes in Mohs surgery for rare and difficult tumors, complex reconstruction, and melanoma.  She has published over 25 articles and book chapters, and authored the book Beautiful Skin Revealed.
